Main theme of ASIAN, Aoyi Miyazaki’s starring movie to be released on March 31st
4-person rock band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION is going to release their new single <Solanin>. <Solanin> is the main theme of the movie of the same name to screen publicly this April starring Aoyi Miyazaki, one of the scenarios in which Miyazaki plays this song is the key of the story.
The single <Solanin> is the 13th single during last 3 months after the previous one <Shinseiki no Love Song>. The theme song was composed by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION with the dialogue in the comic book written by Inio Asano, the author of this movie. The coupling song <Mustang (mix for Meiko)> created with the inspiration from the original comic is the ending theme of the same name (included in the album < MADA MINU ASHITA NI> released in 2008) of the movie and it’s released after newly remixed.
The movie <Solanin> starring Miyazaki and Kengo Kora is based on a comic story which was serialized on magazine <WEEKLY YOUNG SUNDAY> from 2005 to 2006, and it is planning to screen publicly in the coming April. In addition to Miyazaki and Kengo Kora, Kenta Kiritani and Yoichi Kondo (member of Sambomaster) also appear in the movie, which is a story about the complication of young people’s dream and reality.
