The schedules for the 3 rock festivals going on this summer has been announced on each official websites. <FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’10> will take place at Prince Snow Resort in Niigata from July 30^th to August 1^st for 3 days. <SUMMER SONIC 2010> will take place in Tokyo and Osaka on August 7^th and 8^th for 2 days. And < ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2010> will take place at Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki prefecture from August 6^th to 8^th for 3 days.

 

 Oasis, FRANZ FERDINAND and Weezer attended < FUJI ROCK> as Headliners last year. To celebrate the 3^rd anniversary, < SUMMER SONIC > is going on for 3 days, during which western and Japanese popular artists will come together, while My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Beyonce and B’z will attend as special guests.

 

 And for the event schedule, each entrepreneur has announced that “we had a conversation when we decided the date and made an adjustment trying not to overlap the schedule. We have put a lot of efforts to adjust before it took place last year; however ROCK IN JAPAN and SUMMER SONIC still got overlapped. We’ve tried to talk with relevant parties to make some adjustments, but eventually none of the adjustments were adopted. We’re very sorry for those who want to enjoy both of the festivals. Thank you for understanding our position.
