On December 31, 2011, Smileage held a fan club event called "Mega Bank Vol.4" at the Mielparque Hall in Tokyo.
Yuuka Maeda who has been active in Smileage since its inception as an original member graduated from the group to focus on her academic work with the event being her last appearance. At the beginning of the event, Maeda commented saying, "It still does not feel real, and it is hard to believe that today is the final day because so many things have happened. The atmosphere in the dressing room was full of life as usual." However, during the MC when she spoke of the many happenings which they overcame in the past, many members started to cry.
At the end Maeda said to the fans almost crying, "I always tried hard to perform so that I will be admired by you fans together with the other members, but we also had fights among the three of us (original members). But I am very grateful to the three of them, and was happy to be a member. I am very sorry that I will be graduating. Sorry. But I will try had following my own path so that I will not regret this, so please continue to root for Smileage. I really love Smileage too, so I will be rooting for them together with the fans." The fans sent a loud applause.
The leader Ayaka Wada responded to Maeda's speech saying, "From 2012, Smileage will have 6 members, but we will try hard to receive the support of the fans as a 6 person unit, and if we work hard so that we can have a huge concert at a large venue, so that Yuuka will be able to come and see us as well," expressing their determination to move forward and be even more active.
