The sound source of Ryota Fujimaki (Remioromen)'s debut solo single to be released on February 29, "Hikari wo atsumete" can now be viewed on YouTube.
"Hikari wo Atsumete" is a number written by Fujimaki under the theme of "connection (tsunagari)", and he explained his hope that, "After the earthquake, in times when everyone is in need of light for the future and in the heart, I hope that even if small, everyone can share the lights which they have gathered with each other." This time on YouTube, one chorus portion has been disclosed, and you can have a peak of the feelings that Fujimaki has put into this song. Also, ahead of the CD release of this song in February, advance distribution is scheduled from January 12 which is Fujimaki's birthday.
Furthermore, Fujimaki appeared in the live event called "MUSIC FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE" which was held at the Yoyogi National Stadium First Gymnasium on December 23. This was his first stage appearance as a solo artist, and he performed 5 new songs for the first time during approximately 30 minutes, displaying a delicate but strong rock sound which was a bit different from Remioromen.
