On December 25, Momoiro Clover Z held a one band live at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama called "Momoiro Christmas 2011 Saitama Super Arena Taikai".
The Momokuro team is always bringing new ideas to satisfy the audience, and this time given that the venue was the Saitama Arena on year end, the audience was able to enjoy various scenes which seemed like an homage of the "PRIDE" martial arts competition which used to heat up the region. Prior to the opening, a screen shot appeared showing a live coverage booth with Yoshihiko Yano, the announcer famous for his sports commentating, Akira Kawakami who is Momokuro's manager, and Ryota Yamasato (Nankai Candies) and Bananaman as guest commentators. The four commented on the members about to come on stage in a comical fashion. Then the lights were turned off, and the newly taken "fueling" video clips were shown, and then continued exaggerating sounds of drums - the theme song of "PRIDE" which would light up the hearts of any combative martial arts fan.
Then on the courageous calling by the narrator of the Lenne Hardt, the members appeared on stage one by one. When finally the leader Kanako Momota appeared, then the usual introduction song "Momoiro Clover Z Sanjo!!" was played. Following the glamorous production using the large screen, the live started by "CONTRADICTION", a song from the 1st album "Battle and Romance". Then the energetic members continued on with "BIONIC CHERRY", "Roudou Sanka", and "Believe", and overwhelmed the audience from the very beginning.
Next, in the latter half of the live stage, they sang their new song "Shiroi Kaze" for the first time. This is an original ballad song continuing after "Kimiyuki"which was released in Christmas time in the previous year and "Kiminnoato" recorded in the 1st album. The song has turned out to be a song where you can enjoy the five members who have grown significantly through experiencing many stages and recordings. For the encore, they gave an early performance of the new song "Mouretsu uchuu koukyoukyoku・Dainanagakushou
The last piece chosen for the encore was "Ano sora ni mukatte" which has been treasured from Momokuro's beginning years. On the screen, slides reflecting shots of the members from 2011 were shown, to wrap up the last stage of the year with much emotion.
